Greetings from the manse.

It is good to be back, the last year has been very difficult and frustrating for myself and I am sure for you as well. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your cards, flowers prayers and patience during my illness.

It is hard to believe that we are in the season of Advent already. I hope that you will as usual support the special services during this time – the Christingle, the gift service, and the Christmas Eve service. Due to the limits put on my working week at the moment there will be no Christmas Day service this year, but I hope to re-instate this next year.

Mark has enjoyed his time at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate this past year, and as a family we are looking forward to his passing out parade on the 18th December and having him home for Christmas and the New Year. He goes on to Redding on the 11th January to complete his phase two training and I ask that you keep him and all our service men in your prayers.

May I take this time to wish you all a very joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Yours in Christ,

Amelia.
